The
humble British pound coin...
A pound, a quid, a nicker,
one hundred pence. Call it what you will, it still doesn't get
you very much these days does it?
Well, for today and today
only it will get you quite a lot and may even earn you
hundreds of extra pounds over the next few months too because
we're giving you the chance to try out our TrainerTrackStats
manual for the incredible price of just £1.......

TrainerTrackStats,
what's that then?....
As the name suggests,
TrainerTrackStats (TTS) looks at the statistical information
available in expensive proprietary databases to identify the
profitable sub-trends that certain trainers have developed in
specific race types or with specific horses.
Or in simple terms, we find
out at which tracks each trainer targets his (or her) horses…
and when!
We pore
through literally thousands of stats, and hundreds of trainer
combinations to find a tiny subset that are deemed good enough
to make the grade. And, I’m pleased to report, that our
hard work paid off when last season’s TTS continued the
profitable record of its predecessors, rewarding subscribers
tidily in the process and seeing them return to the pay window
time and time and time again.
We also cut out the big
outsiders by having a price ceiling of 14/1. History has shown
us that this is the right cut-off point, as many bookmakers
arbitrarily price ‘rags’ up at 16/1 or 20/1.
So,
whilst we do occasionally miss a big odds winner with this
cut-off point, the number of losers we avoid far outweighs the
payoff on the outsider.
And that is the TTS way:
sensible betting, using trainer pattern information earned
over five seasons.
TTS
Trainers earn their place…
And when I say ‘earned’,
I mean EARNED! It is not easy to get a place in the annual TTS
report. In fact, in order to earn a star a trainer must have
done something pretty, well, stellar.
Here’s what a trainer
has to have done at the respective track in the last five
seasons, and with the specific race / horse type, to achieve a
star. Either:
- Have recorded at
least 15 winners; or,
- Have a strike rate of one
in three or better; or,
- Have recorded a profit
of 25 points or more; or,
- Show an average profit
of 1 ¼ points plus per runner;
or,
- Have
won at least 1 such race every
Season for each of the last 5
years
As I said, we do NOT just
‘give them away’. Trainers in the TTS manual earn
their stars.
I can tell you that there are
SIXTY-SEVEN trainer/track combinations in this season’s
TTS manual, and the star breakdown is as follows:
7 ‘1 star’
trainers
10 ‘2 star’
trainers
22 ‘3 star’
trainers
27 ‘4 star’
trainers
and 1 '5 star' trainer - it’s
David Pipe. To find out where and when, you’ll have to
buy the guide! ;-)
So how has this approach
worked out down the years? Well, the least profit that
subscribers have made is £303 to £20 stakes.
The annual breakdown, to
those reasonably modest £20 stakes, looks like this:
2006/7 ……
£1,207
2007/8 ……
£1,936
2008/9 ……
£1,141
2009/10 …… £303
2010/11 ……
£481.50
2011/12 ….... ????
The beauty of these figures
is that they’re not what Jim Bowen might claim as
“Here’s what you would have won”. These are
actual amounts that TTS subscribers snaffled into their
wallets over the course of those seasons.
Some of the trainers do
underperform each year, but with the portfolio approach taken
by TTS, the balance of profit has always been restored. All
our trainers are stars, but some are bigger (or more) starred
than others, as you’ve seen above.
You can also see that, apart
from the exceptional year in 2007/8, the profit levels are
extremely consistent and – naturally – we’ll
be looking to break the 50 point profit barrier once more this
season.
This
season is looking rosy… :-)
So that’s the history
lesson. But what about this season’s trainers? Well, all
I can say is, “WOW!”
Below are some figures
relating to the trainers who made the cut for this season’s
TTS manual. As with the four previous years, the cutting room
floor is littered with trainers whose ‘close but no
cigar’ record just wasn’t quite good enough.
Never mind those who didn’t
make the grade though, here’s the lowdown on the Class
of 2011/12.
Total number of runners: 2051
Total number of winners: 864
Win Percentage: 42.1%
Total Profit to £20
stakes at SP: £44,600
Average profit per season:
£8,920
I’m sure you’ll
agree those are pretty eye-popping numbers. And because of
that I want to try to manage your expectations.
You see, here at TTS we run a
sensible reputable ship, and we’re proud of our track
record of success. I hope you’ll agree that five
straight years of profit is impressive in these days of false
claims and shysters.
So
let me tell you what I think you can expect this season from
TTS…
I expect that we will make
something in the region of 40 to 75 points profit over the
course of the next six months (i.e. to end April 2012). That
is historically what we’ve achieved and, all other
things being equal, that’s our profit target for this
season.
So that’s somewhere
between £800 and £1,500 profit for £20 level
stakes.
In case you’re
wondering about the difference between the five year
performance and the profit target, this is for a number of
reasons:
- The market ‘cottons
on’ to successful trainers sooner or later, reducing
some of the odds
- Some trainers begin to be
less successful or change their training methods
- Trainers simply have bad
seasons (take Ferdy Murphy last year – his record was
inexplicably bad)
This is why TTS uses the
portfolio approach which means that when some trainers are
suffering, others step up and provide us with our profit. It
has served us very well so far, and we’re confident that
the same results will ensue this time around.
So,
what do I get for my £1?....
OK, so let’s take a
look at what you get when you complete your registration, and
enter the TTS members’ area.
The very first thing you’re
going to see is a breakdown of the results for the previous
five years of TTS. From those links, you’ll get a full
breakdown of how results panned out for subscribers in
previous years, including graphs of profit and loss (mostly
profit!).
You’ll then see two
links in the middle of the page. These are:
- A link to download
this season’s TrainerTrackStats 2011/12 manual
- A link to a page
containing all of today’s TTS selections (in case, you
miss the daily email)
You’ll be left in no
doubt whatsoever about which horses should be bet after you’ve
read through those pages. There will also be a daily email
service which will send the selections straight to your inbox
every morning. Your £1 will give you a 2 week free trial
of this service.*
From this second link, which
will list the TTS selections, there is also a schedule for a
number of FREE Bonus guides that will be made available to all
registered subscribers throughout the 2 week trial period.
So sit back, let us pick out
the days runners and just place your bets.
It really is that simple.
And, if you’re ever
unsure about anything, my email address is right there on the
members’ page, so you can send me your questions, and
I’ll get right back to you.

So that’s what
TrainerTrackStats is, but what exactly will it do for you and
your betting?
Well,
in two words, A LOT!
TTS horses have won two out
of every nine races they’ve run on average (that’s
over 22% winners), and they won more often, not less, last
year.
TTS horses have consistently
shown a profit over the last FIVE YEARS in the public domain,
and a £100 level stakes investment in that time would
have yielded £25,340. That’s real money that has
been generated by TTS for its subscribers.
But, let’s face it, not
everyone has £100 stakes to throw around, so what if
your investments were a little more moderate?
And if we were to say that,
on average, TTS subscribers wagered £10 per horse, and
that there have been on average 500 subscribers per season I
estimate we might have taken something near to £1,267,000
off the bookies in that time.
Now
that’s a truly heartening thought! :-)
The TTS season kicks off on
Tuesday, 1st November, 2011.
